Revealing Myself as a Rose

I am a rose, namely Rachael Rose.
There are times I wilt in sorrow,
And times I bloom with joy.
What sustains me is love.

I feel love being poured upon me,
Love that helps me to grow,
Removing any sad wilts that I have,
And helping me to bloom again.

I spread my blooms with a smile,
Grateful for those who care about me.
If they keep watering me with their love,
None of my wilts will last forever.

Even when no one is around me,
I bravely try to remain standing upright.
Knowing the love I receive is in my roots,
And won’t let me totally wither away.

It’s nice to return the love that’s given
By revealing my blooming ways.
I like to cause others joy in their lives,
And bloom on in their hearts.
